Derby-based commercial property consultancy Salloway has held on to its title of Most Active Agent in Derbyshire in a flagship national award scheme.
For the second year running, the Derby-based firm has been recognised by leading property magazine, Estates Gazette and its online edition EGi, for its work over the past twelve months.
Senior Partner Stephen Salloway explained: "Trading conditions remain tough, but through a mixture of tenacity and proactive, innovative marketing we have managed to consistently close deals.
"In the face of a challenging market agencies have to be more focussed on delivering results than ever before. Therefore this accolade from a premier commercial property publication for a second year running is doubly pleasing, reflecting the hard work of our staff."
The company, which has offices in Derby, Burton and Nottingham, has seen growth in demand for industrial premises - reflecting national trends that suggest an upturn in the manufacturing sector - and has also been boosted by the success of a number of high-profile development projects.
Mr Salloway added: "We have experienced an increase in enquiry levels in all areas of the industrial sector, with manufacturing particularly strong and generally outperforming the office sector.
"Quality second hand stock is particularly sought-after but there is also demand for new space and two typical examples are Boyle Electrical's move to Trafalgar Park and the relocation of Gardner Aerospace to Victory Park, both in Derby.
"The number of deals we have completed also provides us with invaluable information about the local market and this knowledge helps us to further improve the quality and breadth of the professional services we offer."
