Anwar Hussain, Associate Partner at Salloway Property Consultants is delighted to confirm the letting of the Former Conder Offices on Wellington Road, Burton upon Trent to Etex Group. Etex Group are part of Marley Eternit based at Lichfield Road, Branston and specialise in the manufacture of façades and building boards in fibre cement and plaster, roofing materials and highly efficient fire protection and insulation.
The Former Conder industrial site was purchased by F.H. Brundle and refurbished to create a central distribution centre in 2017 to release the pressure from their branches. Their 200,000 square feet of warehousing provides the business with the capability to re-supply the network's branches and allowing F.H. Brundle to fulfil the company's promise that "any customer should be able to receive the products they want, in the quantities required to an agreed time frame".
Anwar Hussain commented, "in addition to F.H. Brundle's impressive central distribution centre, the company inherited surplus office accommodation and it therefore made sense to lease it to Etex, especially given the close proximity to Marley Eternit just off the A38 at Branston. Etex have signed a 10 year deal for approximately 9,000 sq ft of ground and first floor office accommodation, which highlights their confidence in Burton as a great geographical hub. The Landlord undertook an initial refurbishment of the accommodation and then Blueprint Interiors were instructed to perform an office fit-out on behalf of the Tenant creating Grade A office accommodation to meet their needs".
